If you’re able to, help Baltimore and our frontliners by donating your time and energy. The national VU May Event will be hosted on Saturday, May 9th, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This is what volunteers will be doing:
- Sewing face masks for Baltimore hospitals. There is a short supply, yet a high demand, for fasks masks. Please help our medical heroes and society.
- Spread love and optimism with art. Create cards with words of encouragement, or thanks, for our Baltimore hospital workers. You can also create window art for The Baltimore Window Gallery and The Rainbow Project.
- Census calls for fellow Baltimore residents. We need to remind our neighbors to fill out their Census to receive aid and resources.
- Clean-Up and #ChalktheWalk. Get some fresh air, and clean up/green up your block. You can also add positivity and brightness to the sidewalks, with chalk art!
